Job Description

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to help us drive the growth of our product and brand in the Netherlands! Are you in love with B2B marketing and excited to both define and execute our local marketing campaigns? As our Marketing Manager NL you will play a crucial role in our mission to shake up the cross-border payments industry and provide first-rate service to our wide range of corporate clients. We are looking for an energetic, organized and creative marketing professional who brings 5+ years of marketing experience, is a strong communicator and is ready to take on this challenge.

Your mission

As Marketing Manager you will define and execute the marketing strategy from an acquisition and communication/branding perspective. You will support our ambitious sales team in Rotterdam in conquering the Dutch market and you will work closely with our corporate marketing team based in Paris. 

Build the best brand awareness in the Netherlands: In cooperation with the Corporate Marketing team based in Paris, you will play an instrumental role in growing brand awareness and positioning the iBanFirst brand and product in the Netherlands market. You will also work together with HR in building our local employer brand.

Be accountable for the local implementation of acquisition campaigns in close cooperation with the Sales team:  

  • Ensure inbound & outbound campaigns are adapted to the Netherlands;
  • Execute OR monitor SEA, mailings, growth actions;
  • Endorse marketing KPIs for the country;
  • Growth lead optimization: drive, analyse and improve growth lead lists;
  • Take into account feedback from salespeople & be proactive on actions plans.

Build strong relationships within the Dutch ecosystem: Create visibility in the Dutch fintech ecosystem (associations) and identify and develop co-branding opportunities and partnerships with fintech players, industries organizations, associations etc. Create and manage PR opportunities.

Scout and negotiate the best (client) events and webinars to organize & attend: Negotiate event packs, define and execute all the related communication activities. 

Implement local Customer Success marketing actions: Connect with our clients through mailings, platform and website localization, sales enablement & messaging.

Be the owner of iBanFirst social networks & blog contents in the Netherlands: Manage publications on different platforms.

Your experience

You have at least 5 years of experience in various marketing roles, in a startup, SaaS organisation or marketing agency, ideally in a B2B environment. You have a Masters degree or equivalent and live in the area of Rotterdam. Furthermore, you have developed the following skills:

  • Mastery: You have managed projects involving different teams, external partners and/or agencies. You have managed company owned social media pages and you have planned or collaborated in the organization of events.
  • Organisational skills: You are both a planner and an executor. You are organized and result driven, knowing how to set priorities and how to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter: you take initiative, are able to operate independently, bring in creative ideas and are able to challenge our local sales team;
  • Communication skills: You have great communication skills, you are a team player and you are able to easily interact with different stakeholders like customers, partners, agencies and our sales team.
  • Knowledge of the FX market and experience with the utilization of Salesforce and/or Hubspot is a big plus;
  • You are able to create appealing, convincing and flawless marketing messages, blogs and press releases in both Dutch and English.
