Job description

The Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the German sales team and be the local representative of the marketing team.

You will join the German Team of several people, based in Berlin and you will define and execute the marketing strategy from an acquisition and communication/branding perspective.

What you will do

1 - Build the best brand awareness in Germany: in cooperation with the Corporate Marketing team based in Paris, you will play an instrumental role in growing brand awareness and positioning of the iBanFirst brand and product in the German market.

2 – Be accountable for the local implementation of acquisition campaigns in close cooperation with the Sales team:

  • Ensure inbound & outbound campaigns are adapted to Germany,
  • Execute OR monitor SEA, emailings, growth actions,
  • Endorse marketing KPIs for the country,
  • Take into account feedbacks from salespeople & Be proactive on actions plans.

3 – Implement local Customer Success marketing actions, including:

  • Reengagement emailings,
  • Welcome emailings,
  • Platform localization,
  • Website localization,
  • Sales enablement & messaging.

4 - Scout and negotiate the best events and webinars to organize & attend: 

You will scout relevant events, reach out the organizers to negotiate event packs, define and execute all the related communication activities. You will be a key contributor in organizing clients events and webinars too.

5 - Build the best relationship with German ecosystem :

  • On the one hand be visible in the fintech German ecosystem (associations),
  • On the other hand : identify and develop cobranding opportunities with fintech players, industries organizations, associations etc.

You will contribute to identify those partnerships as well as plan and execute marketing & communication activities with those partners.

6 - Be the owner of iBanFirst social networks & blog contents in the Germany: 

You will manage the publications on the different platforms.

Preferred experience

About Your Experience: You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in various marketing roles, in a startup or in a marketing agency, ideally in a B2B environment.

Mastery: You have managed projects involving different teams, external partners and/or agencies. You have managed company owned social media pages and you have planned or collaborated in the organization of events.

Organisational skills: You are both a planner and an executor. You have self-initiative and you are result driven, knowing how to set priorities and how to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Communication skills: You have great communication skills, you are a team player and you are able to easily interact with different stakeholders like customers, partners and agencies.

Languages: You are fluent in German and English. Any other language would be a +.

Education: You have a Masters degree or equivalent.

Location: Living in Germany and willing to relocate if necessary.
